Address Cleansing & Standardization
LinkageWiz is a powerful Address Cleansing & List
Management tool used by
businesses, government agencies,
universities and other organizations in the
USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and France.
Address cleaning is the process of
converting street addresses to a standardized format. Spelling mistakes are
corrected,
superfluous punctuation is removed, capitalization is standardized and address
components are translated into standard
abbreviations. A standardized address field is usually output along with key
elements of that address (building number,
street name, street name and street type).
Cleaning and standardizing address data prior to Data Matching results in
higher match rates, and also facilitates geocoding
of the address data
